Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Freedom Baptist Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. We are an independent, fundamental, Baptist church. We preach and teach the truth from the Word of God, the King James Bible. We preach doctrine and practical application for daily Christian living. Our children are taught in their various classes spiritual truths applied at their level of understanding.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Randy Balcom, Senior Pastor

Randy accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour at a young age in Clackamas Oregon.   In 2001 he surrendered his life to full time service during a missions’ conference at Tri-City Baptist Temple. Randy graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield Missouri, earning a degree in Pastoral Studies and Bible, and a degree in Youth Ministry and Bible in 2009.  Randy and his wife Lori met as teen-agers and have been married for more than 30 years and have 6 children.
